UTT Head says tertiary education suffering after Covid

While there has been focus on Primary and Secondary students in terms of the difficulties associated with virtual learning, those at the tertiary level including University students have also been faced with challenges.
President of the University of Trinidad and Tobago Professor Prakash Persad says not only has the pandemic created a lack of accountability as it relates to certain staff, but it also creating problems with tertiary education.
During a Webinar hosted by the UTT on Thursday, the Professor stated in order for the tertiary system to better operate and indeed the country, there needs to be a focus on getting the vaccines.
