The Chairman of Unipet says that hike in fuel price that takes effect next week was long in coming.
Dr Afraz Ali says that T&T is now in a catch up phase.
He explained that the fuel market was heavily is now heavily regulated and he is looking forward to its liberalisation.
He says given the present economic situation the most important point to consider is the margin when fuel prices increase at April 19th.
