Two Men Held after Robbing Woman of Cash, Jewellery

Two men of Second Caledonia, Morvant, were arrested for a robbery which occurred in December 2020 in the Princes Town district.

According to the victim, on 8th December, 2020, she was walking along Cleghorn Village, Princes Town, when two men accosted her, relieving her of her cell phone and an undisclosed sum of cash and jewellery.

Investigative work by Princes Town detectives resulted in the men being traced to the Morvant district. The suspects were later detained by Morvant Police.

On January 10th, the suspects, ages 21 and 25, were subsequently transferred to the Princes Town Police Station, where they are expected to be charged today for the offences in connection with the report of robbery.

This exercise was spearheaded by Supt Roger Alexander, supervised by Sgt (Ag.) Martin, Cpls Daniel and Duncan and included other officers of the North-Eastern Division Task Force (NEDTF) and Princes Town Police Station.
