TTUTA “Blackout” as it says Return to School plan is a logistical nightmare

The Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association says all laptops, tablets and cell phones used to conduct online classes daily will today remain off and disconnected as thousands of pre-school, primary and secondary school teachers embark on rest and reflection over the next two days.

De Freitas said that the concern lies in the decision to have vaccinated forms 4, 5 and 6 students come out for physical schooling, while unvaccinated students remain at home.

She maintained this would present a logistical nightmare for teachers.

She told Power 102 Digital this morning that some schools are not structurally prepared for physical schooling.

She stated that teachers are to be lauded for the great effort they put out in caring for their students’ academic needs.
