Education Ministry got “Return to School” plan wrong says UNC MP

UNC MP and Shadow Education Minister Anita Haynes says that the Education Ministry has gotten it wrong.

She told Power 102 Digital News this morning that the Government refused to engage in proper consultation with all stakeholders, and this has led to problems with the physical reopening of schools for vaccinated students in forms 4, 5 and 6 carded for October 4th.

She said that the Education Ministry failed to grasp that it can’t operate independent of those who work in the Education system and know whether or not Secondary schools can facilitate both vaccinated students at school and unvaccinated students at home.

She said the technology necessary to facilitate unvaccinated students who must remain at home just isn’t there.
