Police Service Commission Chairman Bliss Seepersad Resigns.

Police Service Commission Chairman Bliss Seepersad has resigned.

This was announced by the Office of the President on Thursday afternoon.

It comes after the resignation of three other members over the past week amid controversy surrounding the appointment of a Police Commissioner.

The following is the media release issued by the Office of the President on the matter:

Her Excellency Paul-Mae Weekes O.R.T.T, President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, has today (Thursday September 30th) accepted the resignation with immediate effect of Ms Bliss Seepersad as Chairman of the Police Service Commission.
