Police are presently examining a social media post showing a gun target at the heart of Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley.
The 12-second video is captioned, “Load the ‘matic and empty the clip on them on August 14”. Local Government Elections will be held on August 14.
In the video, Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar appears in a box on the top-left of the screen on the political platform saying: “We have to load up this ‘matic! We have to pull it back, you have to lock it again, then lock it again…”
Speaking with News Power Now this morning, DCP Curt Simon assured that the TTPS were aware of the video.
However, he stated that an active investigation has not been started concerning the video.
