The Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association welcomes the announcement of a proposed cargo ferry service for the inter-regional transport of goods between Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados.
It is hoped and anticipated this initial step, among these three member states, can also aid in the ease of movement of people and so facilitate greater integration among those states.
TTMA says success of this initiative can allow for other CARICOM members to come on board in the not too distant future allowing for economic benefits to all participants.
