The Creative Industry mourns the loss of Janine Charles-Farray

The Creative Industry is now mourning the loss of Film/TV Marketing and Promotions specialist Janine Charles-Farray.

Janine Charles-Farray who advocated for the arts and the creative industries in Trinidad and Tobago passed away last evening, Saturday October 1st.

Charles-Farray worked at a number of places attached to the Creative Industry, was a passionate professional who perfected her craft in film, music, fashion and dance.

Charles-Farray joined the Lydians at 13 years old, then began entering the Music Festival as a Contralto voice.

Under the direction of Pat Bishop, Charles-Farray expanded her repertoire to include negro spirituals, classical music, and gospel.

There has not been any official word on Janine Charles-Farray cause of death.

As we reflect on her stellar career, we will particularly remember her hard work and commitment towards the Film/TV Marketing and Promotions, having represented and consulted on major feature film projects such as Trafficked, The Longest Wait, God Loves The Fighter, No Bois Man No Fraid, and many more.

We join the Creative Industry community to express our heartfelt condolences to Janine’s family and friends.”
