A 15-year-old boy, identified as Zion Oculien, was gunned down inside an abandoned house at Antigua Road, Wallerfield, Arima early Thursday morning.
Unconfirmed reports state that the teen was found with multiple gunshots to the body around 12:50 am by police.
Cpl Harripersad, PC Mc Dowell, and PC Babwah of the Arima CID, were at the time responding to a report of loud explosions at the premises.
Upon arrival, they found the bloodied youth lying inside a room of the house which once housed C&J Minimart.
Several spent 9mm and 5.56 shell casings, one with the markings TTR, were found at the scene by Crime Scene Investigators.
