The time has come for the people of Tobago to get value for money from funding allocated to it by Central Government.
Speaking during the Budget Debate in the Senate this morning Government Senator, Laurence Hislop claimed at present the sister isle is facing a decline in areas such as tourism, construction and agriculture according to the information available.
He said the THA must take charge of the tourism product and take it to another level in terms of marketing, promotion and other aspects of the industry.
He also commented on the service provided via sea and air transportation provided by the fast ferries and Caribbean airlines to Tobago insisting government has been doing what is required to improve the service in this area.
