The Youth Arm of the United National Congress is urging the citizens of our nation to strongly condemn all acts of sexual abuse, domestic abuse, pedophilia, and the many other criminal ills that the youths and women of Trinidad and Tobago have fallen victim to.
They also call on the men and boys to stand up for women and girls as they are targeted at this time.
In a press release, the Youth Arm also called on the TTPS, the Commissioner of Police and the National Security Minister to put peddle to the metal to assist families in bringing back their loved ones home.
They urged that we be our brother’s and sister’s keeper. “In all newspapers daily as a society we see the missing people in particular, women have risen to a very drastic number. These gruesome incidents can happen to anyone and we must safeguard our women and girls.
The Youth Arm is calling on the National Security Minister and the Minister of Youth Development and National Service to step up to their roles as they are failing the youth and by extension the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago.
