Salvager, David Charles, Monday morning succumbed to injuries he sustained on June 24th.
Confirmation of this comes from the Solid Waste Management Company Limited.
Investigations are currently underway by the Trinidad & Tobago Police Service into the circumstances surrounding a fatal accident at the Forres Park Landfill at approximately 2:30pm.
Preliminary reports indicate Mr. Charles was accidentally crushed by a D8 tractor that was compacting an area within the tipping vicinity of the landfill.
