Surveys done by the National Carnival Commission in 2019 revealed an increase in visitor arrivals which was attributed to improved marketing of the festival abroad.
Corporate Secretary at the NCC, Giselle Martin, told the PAAC meeting overseas patrons were interviewed and the feedback received was very useful in terms of providing a guide and gauge as on areas which must be strengthen or improved.
Ms Martin admits the venture is an expensive one but is very useful.
