St Vincent PM Dr Ralph Gonzales declares Orange alert

St Vincent PM Dr Ralph Gonzales has declared an Orange alert in the midst of increased activity at the Volcano. The PM stressed that the Orange alert was not an evacuation order but the system that put systems in place in the event that an evaluation became necessary. He urged the population to remain calm and not to panic.

Trinidad and Tobago’s Minister of Foreign and CARICOM affairs Dr Amery Browne released a statement indicating that the government of Trinidad and Tobago is monitoring the situation.
