South Africa To Resume Play, Without Loss, On Day 4 Of Second Test

South Africa will resume play Friday on four without loss and an overall second inning lead of 73 runs against the West Indies at Johannesburg.

The home team started play on Thursday on 311 for 7.

However, they were eventually dismissed for 320.

For the West Indies, Alzarri Joseph had 3 wickets 60 runs from 18.2 overs.

Kyle Mayers also contributed with the ball taking 3 for 32 from 9 overs.

Godakesh Motie captured 3 for 75 from 19 overs and Jason Holder picked up 1 for 39 from 16 overs.

In reply, the Caribbean side once again lost wickets at regular intervals.

The only batsman to score over 30 runs was fast bowler Jason Holder who made 81 not out.

His time at the wicket included eight fours and four sixes.

South Africa batting a second time closed Day Two on four without loss with openers Aiden Markram on 1 and Dean Elgar on 3.
