The Ministry of Health has revealed that there has been six additional COVID-19 related deaths.
In its update for Sunday, August 22nd, 2021, the MoH stated that the deceased included 1 elderly male, 2 elderly females, and 1 middle aged male with comorbidities and 1 elderly male and 1 elderly female without comorbidities.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 1,225.
Additionally, the MoH reports 71 additional persons have tested positive for the virus.
