Shooting in St Joseph leaves 4 nursing gunshot wounds

A shooting in the St Joseph area on Friday night has left four men nursing injuries.

Police are continuing with their investigations, but report that around 9:45pm, a 34-year-old street vendor was plying his trade under a tent near the Maracas St Joseph Community Centre, when he was approached by a man wearing a black mask.

The man asked to see a menu and when the vendor turned his back to retrieve one, he was shot in his left arm.

Three other individuals who were nearby were also shot by the suspect, who was able to flee the scene.

The injured include a 23-year old, who was shot to his left arm, a 25-year old, who was hit in the chest and a 31-year old, who received a gunshot wound to his right arm.
