A shooting in Maraval on Thursday night has claimed the life of a teenager and left a man nursing injuries.
The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Roger Constantine, a gardener, of Monte Cyril Road, Paramin, Maraval.
Reports state that at around 9pm Constantine and the man were liming with other persons in a yard at Farmers Lane, Paramin, when four armed assailants approached and shot at the group several times before fleeing the scene.
Police were notified and on arrival, observed Constantine lying unresponsive with gunshot wounds.
They further observed another male victim with gunshot wounds and conveyed him to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital, where he was treated and is listed in stable condition.
