Former T&T goalkeeper Shaka Hislop has offered thanks for the support he received after what he described as his “awkward” on-air collapse on Sunday in California.
The 54-year-old was working as an analyst for US broadcaster ESPN when he stumbled forward and fell during a pre-match pitch-side interview.
In a video posted to ESPN’s Twitter account, Hislop said “Every so often life gives you a moment to pause and this was mine.”
He added that he will now seek out the best medical opinion he can get and listen to what his doctors have to say.
