Seven more persons have lost their lives due to the COVID-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Ministry of Health says this brings to one thousand, two hundred and fifteen the number of persons who have succumbed to the virus locally.
In its latest clinical update Friday afternoon, the Ministry said the persons were three elderly females, two middle aged males and one middle aged female with co-morbidities, as well as one young adult male without co-morbidities.
The Ministry said two hundred and fifty-seven additional persons have tested positive for COVID-19.
Thirty-one persons have been discharged from public health facilities.
The Ministry said there have been two hundred and fifty-nine recovered community cases.
In terms of persons in hospital, the amount is three hundred and twenty-three.
There are five thousand and fifty persons in home self-isolation.
Patients at state quarantine facilities stand at one hundred and thirty.
At step down facilities the number of patients is ninety-eight.
