An elderly man has been detained by police after stabbing the father of his grandchild.
Reports indicate that a 23-year-old-father from Arima went to pick up his young son from his child’s mother on Monday, when he got into altercation with his son’s grandfather. The elderly man grabbed a cutlass and chopped the victim on his neck and arm. He was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex where he is listed in a serious condition.
