Scotiabank announces that Savon Persad, Vice President, Retail & Small Business Banking, Caribbean South & East has been promoted to Vice President, Retail & Small Business Banking for the Bank’s Caribbean, Central America and Uruguay region, effective May 3, 2021.
Savon joined Scotiabank in 1994 and has held progressively senior roles primarily in the areas of Retail & Small Business Banking and Corporate and Commercial Banking. Anya Schnoor, Executive Vice President, Caribbean, Central America and Uruguay indicated “Savon is well known throughout the region as a strong partner. Under his leadership, he has built a winning team that has delivered consistently solid results including increasing market share, and excellent sales and performance efficiency. I am very pleased to have him join the wider regional team as we continue to build an even better Bank.”
In his new capacity, Savon will drive the design, delivery and financial performance of the region’s retail, small business, digital, payments and analytics strategy.
