RIC to introduce annual exercise when new rate is introduced

When the new rate review for the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission is implemented, the Regulated Industries Commission says it will introduce an annual adjustment exercise.

This is to ensure the utility is collecting sufficient revenue to provide an efficient service to the public.

Chairman of the Regulated Industries Commission, Dawn Callender, said the move will also provide a gauge to determine whether or not the utility is not over or under collecting revenue.
