Cabinet is now in possession of the revised national school discipline matrix.
The report was submitted and the recommendations are before cabinet for its consideration.
Chief Educations Officer, Dr Peter Smith, made the disclosure public while speaking at a news briefing held at the Ministry of Education on Monday morning.
Dr Smith said the move comes on the heels of a drop in violence in school following increased involvement from community policing and this partnership will continue in the next academic year.
