Reifer replaced in Windies squad after scoring 2 & 11 in India loss

Off-spin allrounder, Kevin Sinclair, will replace Raymon Reifer in the West Indies Test squad for the second Test against India which starts in Trinidad on Thursday.

Despite being replaced, Reifer will still travel with the team as cover in case of injury.

West Indies were demolished and left embarrassed after India beat them by an innings and 141 runs in Roseau, Dominica.

During that match, Reifer batted at number three and returned scores of just 2 and 11 as the Windies were bowled out for 150 and 130, failing to come anywhere close to the 421 India posted between the Windies’ innings.

Thursday’s fixture marks the 100th Test match between West Indies and India, since the two teams first met in Delhi in 1948.
