Gunmen dressed in medical garb rob spa/clinic in Barataria

Police are searching for two gunmen who robbed clients at a spa and clinic in Barataria on Monday.

Reports state that around 12:30pm, the two men – dressed as medical personnel in white PPE suits and blue masks, entered the spa and one of the men pulled out a firearm.

The second man walked up-stairs demanding to know about an appointment that had been scheduled for 1 pm that very day.

When the owner refused to divulge any information about the client, the two bandits tied her up along with three of her clients and then robbed them of a total of TT $2200 in cash before running off.

The victims included a 17-year-old of Gill Street, Sangre Grande; two women ages 51 and 73, of Ramgoolie Street, Curepe; along with the 37-year-old female owner of San Antonio Street, San Juan.
