Two Directors of a prominent car dealership located at La Romain, San Fernando were arrested during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the Southern Division on Tuesday.
Between 3:50pm and 6:25pm, on 30th January 2024, a team of officers attached to the Stolen Vehicles Squad executed a search warrant on the premises of a new and or used car dealership located in La Romain, San Fernando.
The officers conducted a comprehensive search at the location in the presence of the two of the company’s Directors, during which time items of evidential value relating to the investigation were seized.
Both Directors, a father and son, were deemed suspects in recent reports of Larceny Motor Vehicle. They were both arrested and conveyed to the Stolen Vehicle Squad Office in Port of Spain.
The exercise was led by Senior Superintendent Ramjohn, Superintendent Etienne, ASP Ramdass and supervised by Inspector Lazarus.
