Stranded Passengers Expexcted To Depart Puerto Rico Tonight – Passengers Now Told To Go To Hotels

Update: Further information reaching our newsroom indicates that the group of 154 Caribbean Airlines passengers, now stranded in Puerto Rico, are not likely to depart for another two (2) to three (3) days.

Anthony Elliot, who has been in communication with Power 102 Digital throughout the day on Tuesday, has said that passengers have been instructed to proceed to hotel accommodations – provided for by CAL – as there is no definitive word regarding arrangements to leave that country.

Mr Elliot also lamented CAL’s handling of this situation, as he said passengers are only receiving correspondence from the Airline via email while having to rely on third party communication with Puerto Rican airport authorities.

Original: Izzso Media has been reliably informed that passengers, stranded in Puerto Rico after a Caribbean Airlines flight had to be diverted due to an emergency, are expected to depart that country at 10:30pm on Tuesday.
