Local businesses and the private sector are told Guyana is making progress in improving the ease of doing trade.
President of Guyana, Dr Irfaan Ali, told reporters at a news briefing on Thursday that the aim is to improve to present system.
Dr Ali said the idea is to set up what he described as a single window system where various transactions can be done and the details of such distributed to all the agencies which will work within certain time lines.
President Ali admits there is need to upgrade the present arrangements which will make it better and easier for transactions to be done.
