Officers of Homicide Region 2 are working on identifying the body of a man, which was found in a drain near a Morvant cemetery on Sunday.
Police report that the body was discovered at the cemetery on Angeline Street shortly after 1pm and it was wrapped in a plastic sheet, then further wrapped in a cloth.
The body of the man bore multiple stab wounds and the hands were tied to the front.
The body was taken to the Forensic Science Centre in St James.
