There is no truth to claims, Gary Griffith, is being touted as a Senator under the United National Congress and will join the political party as a possible leader.
Mr Griffith cleared the air on the issue while being interviewed on the Power Breakfast Show on Power 102 Digital Monday.
Mr Griffith reflected on his stint as Minister of National Security while serving during the tenure of the People’s Partnership government.
Mr Griffith said even while he held this ministerial position he was not a member of any political party and felt this was a vital factor in influencing how he operated.
