Officers of the St Margaret Police Station recovered a stolen vehicle at Claxton Bay on Friday 20th August, 2021.
At around 2pm on Friday, a woman parked and secured her motor vehicle, at her home, a beige Toyota Yaris valued at $80,000. Shortly afterwards a man entered her home, through an open door, and pointed a firearm at her and announced a robbery.
Her mobile phone and the keys for her vehicle were taken from her. The suspect then entered the vehicle and drove off along Forres Park.
A report was made to the St Margaret Police Station and within minutes, the officers recovered the vehicle abandon in a mud track off Tortuga Road, Claxton Bay.
