A man identified as Brent Lewis was shot dead in Point Fortin on Tuesday night.
Around 8.45p.m. Lewis, 38, was at Techier Village, Point Fortin, in the vicinity of the community centre, when he received a call and walked into the road.
Reports are that a Nissan Tiida pulled up and the occupants opened fire on Lewis.
Lewis was self-employed and police are now trying to determine a motive for his murder.
