TT Volleyball Association Holds Week Of Developmental Activities

The Trinidad and Tobago Volleyball Federation collaborates with several state partners, the TTOC and the International Volleyball Community to host a week of developmental and competitive activities.

The week starts with a beach volleyball training seminar hosted by a master coach from perennial beach Volleyball contenders Brazil.

Augusto Sabatini will lead teams and coaches from eleven regional countries through their paces.

Hopefuls from Trinidad and Tobago will also have a chance to participate in trials to select the National u19 team on Friday from 3:30 pm.

Trinidad & Tobago’s Seniors will also get their chance for their first competitive taste of the facility in a senior tournament.

The jewel in the crown however, will be the International U19 Tournament that follows the training program, where a place in the main draw of the World Championships carded for August 27th in China will be up for grabs. Ten Countries will compete.

This is an exciting weekend for sports fans, volleyball fans, and families looking to expose youngsters to new sports options.

A tournament schedule will be posted as soon as there is final registration, however, look forward to wall-to-wall action on all three courts from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th.

The facility will be open for spectators and all interested persons who wish to observe the training program on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th.
