PM Admits TT Not Immune To What Goes On between Venezuela and America

Trinidad and Tobago is not immune to what goes on between Venezuela and America.

This is the response of Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, to the decision by the United States to reimpose sanctions on Venezuela’s vital oil sector.

The move was taken over what the US administration says is the government’s failure to adhere to democratic principles ahead of elections in July.

Trinidad and Tobago has acquired a special two year license relating to the Dragon Gas Field exploration project.

Questioned on the development by reporters on Thursday , Prime Minister Rowley said is he focused on building meaningful relationships with both countries to promote this country’s interest on a wider level.
