18 Billion Dollars Recovered From Discussions Held On Renewed Energy Contracts For TT

The 19 trips abroad at a cost of 10 million dollars over four years  are defended by the government.

It reveals the travel was necessary in order to finalise key decisions relating to renewing energy contracts and other areas of national development.

Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, told reporters during the question and answer period at the post cabinet news briefing Thursday, Trinidad and Tobago will recover 18 billion dollars because of renewed energy contracts which have been secured.

India it was revealed is also interested in investment locally in terms of sport.
