Three persons have been identified by the Pan American Health Organisation who will form part of its team which will probe the premature deaths of eight babies at the Port of Spain General Hospital.
By the end of the month the PAHO personnel are expected to be in Trinidad and Tobago.
PAHO had been invited by the government to be a part of the probe and had asked for information before determining the makeup of its team to investigate the matter.
The update was indicated by Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, while speaking at the weekly post cabinet news briefing Thursday.
The country has been urged to bear with the investigative process as the facts are acquired.
