OWTU says Gov’t needs to give details on fuel cash card

People need more information from the government concerning plans to introduce a fuel cash card.
The appeal comes from Education and Research Officer of the Oilfield Workers Trade Union, Ozzie Warwick.
During Monday’s budget presentation Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert, said a fuel cash card will be made available to vulnerable groups.
This Mr Imbert said is to offset the cost of increases in the price of motor fuels.
Minister Imbert said this cash card programme will be administered by the Ministry of Public Utilities.
However, speaking during a news briefing Thursday afternoon, Mr Warwick called on the government to provide more specifics on the cash card arrangement.
