The vulnerable, working class and middle class are feeling the effects of several promises made the government which have not materialize according to Opposition Leader, Kamla Persad Bissessar during her Budget Response in the parliament Friday.
The Member of Parliament for Siparia told the House of Representatives the population is under pressure to survive the challenging times especially in light of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Mrs. Persad Bissessar said many citizens are facing unemployment due to the strain being experienced by several businesses.
