Students from five primary schools in Tobago will benefit from the donation of twenty learning devices from the Bankers Insurance and General Workers Union to the Division of Education, Innovation and Energy.
The primary schools were L’Anse Fourmi Methodist, Parlatuvier Anglican, Castara Government, Speyside Anglican, and Roxborough Secondary.
The donation was made on Thursday.
In a media release Friday, the Division of Education in the Tobago House of Assembly said the tablets were delivered to the principals of five schools to be given to students in need.
The Division said it welcomes partnerships with individuals, organizations and institutions that ensure more of Tobago’s students are provided with the tools that give them an opportunity to succeed.
