The motion to extend the State of Emergency for three months has been passed by the House of Representatives.
Debate wrapped up just after 7pm today when a vote was called.
All Government members in the House voted for the motion while the Opposition members all abstained.
The motion was carried by a vote of 21 for, none against and 18 abstentions.
