A Morvant man is warded in a stable condition at hospital, after he was shot multiple times by a group of masked gunmen on Tuesday night.
Shortly after 9pm, the victim was at Jacobin Street, Morvant with his brother, near the basketball court, when a black Kia Sportage approached.
The vehicle stopped in front of him and the occupants in the back seat opened the door and fired at him.
His brother escaped unharmed but he was shot in the upper right shoulder.
The victim was rushed to the Port of Spain General Hospital where he had emergency surgery.
Investigations are ongoing.
