Oropouche East MP, Dr Roodal Moonilal believes the Prime Minister’s health has further impaired his judgement, in light of the PM’s choices for two key portfolios during a reshuffle on Monday.
The reshuffle sees Stuart Young shifted from the National Security Ministry to the Energy Ministry, which became vacant following the death of Energy Minister Franklin Khan.
Fitzgerald Hinds replaces Young as National Security Minister, while Foster Cummings will take over Hind’s portfolio of Youth Development Minister.
According to Moonilal, Young will be just as incompetent as his unfortunate predecessor.
And, Moonilal also did not expect much from Hinds, who he said was “a well-known and proven failure in about eight ministries.” He claimed Hinds’ appointment was temporary.
Moonilal said Rowley was just “moving scrap iron from one side of a yard to another” because he has a dearth of talent to choose from.
