MP for La Horquetta/Talparo, Foster Cummings, is excited to be taking over the mantle of Minister of Youth Development from Fitzgerald Hinds.
In a reassignment of portfolios yesterday, due to the sudden passing of Energy Minister Franklin Khan, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley advised the President to appoint Stuart Young as the new Energy Minister, Fitzgerald Hinds as National Security Minister and Cummings was placed in Youth Development.
Cummings said the Ministry of Youth has been around for a very long time, but was refined under this current term as Youth Development and National Service.
He said he was going to give it his all to make sure the people of TT get the opportunities for their development that they so deserve.”
He added that he was excited and honoured to be selected for the Ministry, but he would like to meet with Hinds first on further plans for the ministry.
