Two girls, ages 12 and 16, were rescued by police officers after their mother had been offering them up for sex.
The 38-year-old mother was arrested last week by police after reports were made that she allowed her daughters to be used for prostitution. She was arrested at her home along the Eastern Main Road in Arouca, and her daughters were taken into custody.
Sources say the mother has been using the girls for years.
