The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is set to give his advice in relation to six police officers of the North Division Task Force, who have been detained for questioning into allegations of misbehaviour at the Arouca police station on Tuesday 07th November, 2023.
Reports state that a seventh officer is also subject to an investigation by detectives from the Professional Standards Bureau. However, that officer is yet to be detained.
The full details of the allegations against the officers have yet to be revealed, however the officers are expected to be questioned by investigators before advice is sought from the office of DPP.
