Citizens are faced with an Orange Level adverse weather alert and several areas are still flooded from Saturday’s downpour into Sunday’s rainy weather.
Minister of Planning and Development, Penelope Beckles was up and about within her constituency in Arima, accessing various areas that have been affected by flood waters.
Yesterday, Saturday 26th November 2022, she accompanied by Councillor Roger Moore and they visited Pinto Road South of Ivy Lane to assess the river flow and its effects on residents situated near its banks.
Works continue in various parts of the community, including on the Blanchisseuse Old Road, ensuring that the areas are clear from landslides.
