Police responded to reports of a shooting along Second Street, San Juan this morning.
According to reports the incident took place at about 6.15 am – persons in the area heard a series of loud explosions and found a man on the ground lying in a pool of blood.
He appeared to be shot to the head and chest.
The deceased is yet to be identified.
At about the same time, police received a report that two persons were shot along Maturita Road in Arima.
In that report, the victims were also said to be unresponsive.
