Challenges At DPP Office Are Being Addressed, Assures Attorney General

Staffing and other challenges faced by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions are being addressed.

The assurance comes from Attorney General, Reginald Armour.

Mr Armour did so during debate on the private motion: condemn the government for its failure to address the serious crime level.

The AG said issues affecting the operations of the DPP’s Office are being tackled as well as matters pertaining to concerns from prison officers which they face on a day to day basis.

Mr Armour also outlined other measures which have been taken too addressing problems faced by law enforcement officers.
